Willis R. Myles, 70, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 15, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Aug. 18, with Bro. Woodrow Forsythe, Bro. Terry Swaw and Bro. Jim Ward officiating. Interment was in Slate Springs Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 9, 1942, in Crossville, the son of Avis Miles and Stacy Elizabeth (Hamby) Miles.
He worked at Franklin Limestone and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Myles-Young and husband, Michael, of Crossville; brother, Marvin Myles of Spring City; and grand-puppies and kitties.
He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Myles; parents, Avis Miles and Stacy Elizabeth Miles; brothers, Walter Myles and Odell Myles; and sisters, Willadean Looper, Faye Elmore and Kay Myles.
Pallbearers were Chris Lowe, Terry Potter, Jr. Brady, Lamarr Green, Cronell Loden and Teddy Loden. Honorary pallbearers were George Walker and Ray Pelfrey.
