Rosemary White

CROSSVILLE — Sept. 4, 1958—April 1, 2013

Rosemary Marie White, 54, of Crossville, passed away April 1, 2013. Funeral services were held April 4 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Ritzman officiating. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

She was born Sept. 4, 1958, in Knox County, TN, the daughter of Lewis A. and Juanita Collins Corum. She was a homemaker and a member of Crosswalk Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, loving to fish and camp. She also loved riding motorcycles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Andrew White of Crossville; brothers, Steve Corum and Calvin Corum, both of Crossville; and sisters, Sandra Hicks and husband, Larry, of Dallas, GA, and Janice Huckeba of Fayetteville, GA; and grandchildren, Dustin White and Kinsley Norris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Busbin, and brothers, Tommy and Rick Corum.

Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

    It’s 4th of July again, a time to remember who we are and how our men and women have offered themselves as sacrifices to the gods of war—for patriotism, for adventure, love of country and concern for families. But we are at a point where we must now ask if more war in the Middle East is honorable or honest. There will always be proud volunteers from Tennessee, but some rethinking is in order.
