Robert L. Floyd, 77, of Crossville, formerly of Rushville, IN, passed away July 26, 2013, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Aug. 2, 2013, at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
He has resided in Lake Tansi at Crossville for the past 17 years. He was born May 17, 1936, in Rushville, IN, the son of the late Otto and Addie Browning Floyd. He is a graduate of Rushville High School. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He spent his career in supervision and upper management. At the time of his retirement, he was vice president of manufacturing at Garland-Wellbuilt in Hazelton, PA. His hobbies and the loves of his life are family, friends, golf and NASCAR. He regularly attended the Lake Tansi Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Hayslett Floyd, to whom he was married March 1, 1975. He is also survived by a son, Robert Floyd Jr. of Missouri; a stepson, Gary and Rhonda Hornung of Edinburg, IN; stepdaughters, Sheri Hornung Baker of Connersville, IN, Susan Hornung of Colorado, and Stacy and Richard Sorensen of Cheaspeake, VA; a sister, Mary Kathryn and Clayton Haehl of Pulaski, TN; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews and special friends, Bruce and Martha Wright of Centerville, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian.

Jackson Walker Fitch, 4, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 30, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A graveside was held at McEwen Cemetery in McEwen, TN, Dec. 3, with Bro. Brian Smith officiating. The family received friends Dec. 2 at Bilbrey Funeral Home.

Dion G. Ault Sr., 65 of Pikeville passed away Dec. 2, 2013. A celebration of Dion’s life will be held Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home, with Bro. Milton Kerr and Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be in the Hamilton Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 11-1 p.m.
Mildred Joe Jones, 74, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 28, 2013, at NHC Healthcare Fort Sanders. Funeral services were held Nov. 30 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Bro. Danny Wyatt officiating. Burial was in Elmore Cemetery.
Memorial services for John Richard Duffy, 77, of the Cumberland Cove Community of Monterey, will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. from the Cumberland Cove Welcome Center. The family will receive friends at the Welcome Center following services Thursday.
Graveside funeral services for Lidda Buckner, 82, of Crossville, were held Nov. 30 from the Welch Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Hawkins officiated.
Levis "Hook" Boston, 88, of Sparta, passed away Nov. 28, 2013, at Life Care Center of Sparta.
He was born April 3, 1925, in Crossville, the son of Hattie Boston.
Ruby Lee (Hedgecoth) Tabor, 70, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 22, 2013, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Nov. 26, with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating. Darryl Smith gave the eulogy and Lynda Carver read a poem, "Angels in the Stars." Randy Tabor sang a song he wrote for Mrs. Tabor. Burial followed in Fredonia Cemetery.
Elene Beam McMillan, 100, Jonesborough, passed away Nov. 26, 2013, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 30, at noon at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough, with the Rev. Tammy Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
