Roy O’Dell Davenport, 69, of Rockwood, passed away on Nov. 27, 2011.
Mr. Davenport was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren, Thomas, Caleb, Spencer, Tyler, Chloe, Hannah, Bradley, Cassedy, Kayla, Caleb, Kristen and Jett.
He enjoyed time spent with his great-grandchild, Jett Willbanks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Ida Crabtree Davenport; brothers, Michael Davenport, Charlie Davenport, Avery Davenport and Archie Davenport; sisters, Anna Lou Hoggin, Elizabeth Campbell and Diane Harvell; stepsister, Marie Robinette; and brother-in-law, Archie Howard.
He is survived by wife of 17 years, Julie Hall Davenport of Rockwood; step-children, Jannie (Wacky) Swicegood of Rockwood and Johnny (Billie Jo) Hall of Rockwood; special nephews, Junior and Sharon Wolfe of Crossville and Gary Howard; sisters, Linda Howard of Crossville, Bobbie Brown of Oliver Springs and Lourain Rensing of Illinois; daughters, Holly Lee and Rose Farmer of Crossville; and step-brother-in-law, Jimmy Robinette of Oliver Springs.
Mr. Davenport also leaves to cherish his memory many nephews, nieces and cousins. Memorial Services will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 1, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary at Rockwood. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Howard officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date.

Gwendolyn “Kaye” Sohl, 62, of Nashville, formerly of Crossville, passed away April 18, 2014. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 23, at noon from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Linary Cemetery. Bro. Steve Watts and Bro. Tim Watts officiated.
Eva Lee Perry, 89, of Crossville, passed away April 21, 2014, at her home in Crossville. Funeral services will be held today, April 25, at First Baptist Church beginning at 3 p.m., with Pastor Stephen Perry officiating. Interment will be in Lantana Cemetery.
Mrs. Perry was born May 25, 1924, in Crossville, the daughter of John McKinley and Sarah Jane (Delk) Hyder.
