Nov. 18, 1920—May 17, 2014
Daniel N. Lesczykowski, of Crossville, went home to be with his Lord May 17, 2014, at Cumberland Hospice House in Crossville. He was 93 years old.
Daniel was born Nov. 18, 1920, in Sobieski, WI, the son of Anton and Frances Lesczykowski. Daniel grew up on the family farm in Sobieski, WI.
Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. On Aug. 21, 1948, he was united in marriage with Shirley Vogt in Sheboygan, WI. The couple lived on the family farm in Sobieski, WI, before moving to Sheboygan, WI, in 1951, where they raised their family of six children. For 24 years, Daniel was employed as a polisher at Vollrath Company in Sheboygan. Daniel enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.
Daniel and his wife, Shirley, moved to Crossville in the past two years to be closer to family members who could care for them.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Sheboygan, and five of their six children, Sharon (Mark) Miller of Ellijay, GA, Rebecca (Jerome)Schmitt of Crossville, Mark (Jamie Marcus) Lesczykowski of Crandon, WI, Linda (Nathan) Miller of Joelton, TN, and Anthony Lesczykowski of Sheboygan, WI. He is further survived by 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel David; grandson, Scott Anthony Lesczykowski; brothers, Andrew and Clarence Lesczykowski; and sisters, Violet Harris and Josephine White.
Funeral services were held May 19 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be given to the Cumberland Hospice House in Crossville.
The Lesczykowski family would like to especially thank the Hospice of Cumberland County staff and nurses Thelma and Desireé. They would also like to extend a warm thank you to all the relatives and friends who supported Daniel and his family throughout his illness.
Interment will be in Sheboygan, WI.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Ruth Vicory Yoakum was born on May 9, 1912, to Wilma Pearl McCreary and Walter Carpenter Yoakum in Leavenworth, KS. She passed away on July 17, 2014, at the Wharton Homes at Uplands Village in Pleasant Hill. There will be a service of the worship of God in her memory at the Pleasant Hill Community Church in Pleasant Hill at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2.
William “Bill” Fancher Graham, 70, of Crossville, passed away peacefully at home July 19, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with malignant lymphoma. Funeral services were held July 22 at Main St. Church of Christ. Bro. Barry Kennedy and Bro. Larry McDuffee officiated, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Dr. Charles Edward Brookhart passed away July 21, 2014, in Overland Park, KS. He was 85.
Hester Lucille Campbell, 86, of Crossville, passed away July 20, 2014, at Cumberland Medical Center.The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, with Bro. Joe Campbell and Bro. Stanley Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Burgess Cemetery.

Hugh W. Hendricks Jr., 66, of Alpharetta, GA, departed this life at his home July 16, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services for Burtis Wooton, 80, of Crossville, will be conducted today, July 18, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home.
Jack M. Williams, 83, of Crossville, passed away July 10, 2014, after a long illness.

Mary Faye Van Dorn, 70, of Grandview, passed away July 14, 2014, at Cumberland Medical Center. The family will receive friends today, July 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with the service at noon at the funeral home. Bro. Chip Meadows will officiate and burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard.
