Lula Mae Hall

CROSSVILLE — July 17, 1928—Dec. 21, 2012

Lula Mae Hall, 84, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 21, 2012, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home Dec. 24, with Bro. Nick Ball officiating. Final resting place was Oaklawn Cemetery.

Born July 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pearl (Sapp) Mifflin. She was the wife of the late James Harrison Hall Jr.

Surviving are sons, James Larry Hall, Marvin Hall and Stanley Hall, all of Crossville; and daughters, Brenda Russell and Stella Carr of Crossville, Donna Mize of Waynesville, MO, Doris Hassler of Crossville, Debbie Raleigh of Knoxville, Rosa Sherrill of Crossville, Melinda Howard of Deerlodge and Melissa Hall of Crossville. Also surviving are her sister, Ruth Hughes of Crossville, 26 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beulah May Hall; son, James H. Hall III; brothers, William, Edward and David Mifflin; and sisters, Helen Mathes, Ruby Dean Smith and Myrtle Cadman; and a granddaughter, April Russell.

Serving as pallbearers were Robert Carr, Jackie Raleigh, Robert Sherrill, Jerry Lee King, Steven Hassler, Bryan Bowman and Jay Simons.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.

Chip Meadows will officiate and burial will be in Haley's Grove Cemetery in Crab Orchard.
