Janet Delores Hinkson, 79, of Crossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday March 14, 2011. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last weeks of her life. A Memorial Service was held on March 18 at Harmony Baptist Church, where she was a member.

Mrs. Hinkson was born Nov. 24, 1931, in Struthers, OH, the daughter of Ralph and Lucy Linebaugh.

She moved from Struthers to Youngstown, OH where she met and married the love of her life LeRoy and had their first five children. In 1962 the family moved to Long Island, NY where the last two children were born. After raising all their children they then retired to Palmetto, Florida where they spent the next 20 years. With the final move being to Crossville, TN in 2005. She was one of 8 children born to the late Ralph and Lucille Linebaugh and was the wife of LeRoy Hinkson, her high school sweet heart, for over 61 years.

Survivors include her loving husband- LeRoy Hinkson; children, Sandy Gonnelli and her husband Robert, Kathi Wiggins and her husband Chuck, Harold Hinkson, Lydia Paterson and her husband Curt, Ralph Hinkson, Betty Baker and her husband Ron, and Paul Hinkson; grandchildren, Robert and his wife Denise, Yolanda, and Michael and his wife Amanda Gonnelly; Kristen Johnson and her husband Eldon, Matthew and his wife Sarah, Micah and his wife Amanda, and Justin Wiggins and his wife Lauren; Jeremy, Susan, and Seth Strong, Katie Hendricks and her husband Sergio, and Mary Strong; Courtney and Danielle Paterson; and Ashley, John, Rebekah, and Terrilyn Klingberg; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brian, Dylan, Michael, and Conner Gonnelly; Emma, Gracie, and Chloe Johnson; Harvey and Rudy Wiggins; Chandler, Niomi, and Mira Strong; and Abijah "AJ" Hendricks.; her dog Pebbles; and brothers and sisters, Dale Linebaugh and his wife Opal; Susan Linebaugh; Ray “Skip” Linebaugh and his wife Shirley; Gary Linebaugh and his wife Sue; Glenn Linebaugh and his wife Pat; and Laura Linebaugh; and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Palagyi.
