Zachary Forest Rogers, 13, of Crossville, passed away March 30, 2013, at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Funeral service was held April 4, with burial in Battown Cemetery. Johnny Goldston officiated.
Zachary was born May 22, 1999, in Crossville. He enjoyed gaming, watching James Bond movies, reading books, playing with Mommadog, shooting his BB gun, and loved helping others.
He is survived by his parents, Pam and Billy Dodson and Terry and Jannie Rogers; grandparents, Gail and Jerry Bow, Elizabeth Shelby and James and Floralee Rogers; Great Granny Eva Petty; other grandparents of the heart; brothers, Alen Rogers, Thomas Neal, William Neal, Joseph Parham, Kyle Dodson, Matthew Dodson and brothers of the heart; sisters, Lyndsay Neal, Brittany Hamilton, Amber Wilson, Brandy Davis, Natalie Dodson, Whitney Dodson and sisters of the heart; Uncle Steve Cross, Uncle Scott Rogers, Uncle James Dodson, Uncle John Beaty, Uncle William Beaty, Uncle DeWayne Davis, and uncles of the heart; Aunt Marsha Davis, Aunt June Beaty, Aunt Shirley Dayton, Aunt Lisa Rogers, Aunt Tenika Cross, Aunt Rosalee Phiffer, Aunt Violet Kerley and aunts of the heart; and a multitude of precious family and friends.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, John D. Findley, Lois Rogers and Hubert Beaty; great-grandparents, Willie "Bill" Petty, Wilburn and Ida Brown, Estelle and Merida Findley and Dewey Rogers.
Pallbearers were Thomas Neal, Joseph Parham, Anthony Armstrong, William Neal, Jason Smith and Billy Dodson.

Mr. Jack R. Hurst, 69 of Crossville, formerly of Harriman, passed away March 11, 2014, at his residence. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will be Friday, March 14, at 11 a.m. at Evans Mortuary, with the Rev. Harold Qualls officiating. Interment will follow at Willard Park in South Harriman.
