Lee Kaffenbarger, 72, was born in Springfield, OH, July 12, 1940, and passed away at his home in Crossville Dec. 19, 2012. A memorial service to commemorate his death was held Dec. 23 at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with Pastor Jim Mersereau officiating.
He was a judicial commissioner for most of his life and loved working for and spending time with his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, photography and golfing. He liked coaching and playing baseball and created many memories for his children when they were in little league.
He is survived by his sons, Johnnie Kaffenbarger (Brenda) and Rodney Kaffenbarger (Kelly); daughters, Cheryl Hornsby (Jeff) and Cynthia Farr; grandchildren, Jason, James and Jacob Shaffer, Billy, Tiffany and Heather Farr, Johnna Akers, Cole, Samantha, Cheyenne, Nathan and Devon Kaffenbarger; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Carl Wayen Kaffenbarger (Laura).
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma Bumbalough Kaffenbarger; parents, Carl Wayne and Elsie Louise Dickerson Kaffenbarger; brothers, John and Peter Kaffenbarger; and son-in-law, Blaine Farr.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

Gwendolyn “Kaye” Sohl, 62, of Nashville, formerly of Crossville, passed away April 18, 2014. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 23, at noon from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Linary Cemetery. Bro. Steve Watts and Bro. Tim Watts officiated.
Eva Lee Perry, 89, of Crossville, passed away April 21, 2014, at her home in Crossville. Funeral services will be held today, April 25, at First Baptist Church beginning at 3 p.m., with Pastor Stephen Perry officiating. Interment will be in Lantana Cemetery.
Mrs. Perry was born May 25, 1924, in Crossville, the daughter of John McKinley and Sarah Jane (Delk) Hyder.
