Harold J. Heuser
Jan. 21, 1927 — July 27, 2007
Harold J. Heuser, 80, of Crossville, passed away July 27, 2007. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Lantana Road Baptist Church. Pastor Scott Johnson will officiate.
Mr. Heuser was born Jan. 21, 1927, in Muskegon, MI, the son of Louis F. and Myrtle Hazekamp Heuser.
He had worked as a cook and baker and was of the Baptist faith. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his brothers, Bud Heuser of Crossville and Frederick Heuser of Texas; and sister, Anna Mae Archambault of Michigan.
Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC was in charge of the arrangements.

Roger D. Machost
Nov. 21, 1947 — July 29, 2007
Roger Dale Machost, 59, of Crossville, passed away July 29, 2007.
Mr. Machost was born Nov. 21, 1947, in Bakersfield, CA, the son of Oscar and Alice Mae (Green) Machost.
He was a supervisor in the wood industry.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Crossville; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Craig Allen of Vicksburg, MS; sister, Lynn Guynn; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Machost of Rancho Cordova, CA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Machost.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
Patricia A. Surcuilas
Dec. 17, 1947 — July 25, 2007
Patricia Ann (Burchfield) Surcuilas, 59, of Crossville, passed away July 25, 2007. Funeral services were conducted July 28 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Ralph Reagan officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Surcuilas was born Dec. 17, 1947, in Knoxville, the daughter of Billy J. and Billie Jo (Noe) Burchfield.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Surcuilas Jr. of Crossville; daughters, Sharon Agular, Amanda Surcuilas, Angela Surcuilas and Jamea Huss, all of Crossville; and brothers, James Burchfield of Knoxville; Terry Burchfield of Crossville, Rocky Burchfield, Tommy Burchfield and Ricky Burchfield, all of Detroit, MI, and Billy Burchfield of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers were Terry Burchfield, Ricky Burchfield, Rocky Burchfield, James Burchfield, Ben McClellen and Nathan Huff.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
