Dallas Calvin Hughes, 91, of Crossville, passed away July 3, 2007. Funeral services were conducted July 6 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Bratton Tucker officiating. Interment was in Pomona Cemetery.
Mr. Hughes was born Nov. 2, 1915, in Crossville, the son of Frank and Emma (Farris) Hughes.
He was retired from construction work and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his brother, Harold Hughes of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lavena (McPeak) Hughes; an infant son; sisters, Muriel Hembrey and Ruby McCoy; and brothers, Hollis Hughes and Oliver Hughes.
Pallbearers were Red Turner, John Ed Turner, Steven Oaks, Randy Bileu, Joe Vasquez and Glen Lawson.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
