Benjamin L. Norrod
March 26, 2007
Benjamin Lee Norrod, 26, of Murfreesboro, passed away March 26, 2007. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at the New Pleasant Hill Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Hill. Visitation with the family will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with the service at 7 p.m.
Mr. Norrod had a vivacious spirit. His eyes sparkled with mischief. His quick wit and smile gave his family and friends a memory of something unique. Summer, sunshine, his flops and a pair of jeans were all he asked out of life. He was generous and tender and would give anyone the best T-shirt off his back.
He worked at Southern Container in Murfreesboro and always "got-er done."
He took with him a part of every sunny day for his mother and stepfather, Guwina and Joe McCormick; his brother and family, Paul, Stephanie and Destiny Norrod; along with two grandmothers, a host of aunts, uncles and friends.
He goes to join his father, Eddie, and his grandfathers, Hollis Norrod and W. Guy Cooke.
"Ride in God's sunshine, our beloved son and brother."
