The Tansi Pan Club catch is a meal unto itself. The Lake Tansi Pan Club held its second Fish Fry of the season Aug. 1 at the Hiawatha Pavilion. Ed Sawchuk and Jerry Vaughn were at the helm frying the fruitful bounty of Lake Tansi pan fish to perfection as the main dish and star of the show. 

In 2011, the circumstances surrounding Lake Tansi and the growing concern over the sewer were handled by the Lake Tansi POA board at that time which resulted in the purchase of the sewer plant.

Lake Tansi's new pavilion has been bringing in some new attractions since being completed in the end of May. The recreation department has had festivals, company picnics, birthday parties, area school and church functions and some great music in the evenings. They have hosted music of all genres.
