A Crossville woman authorities claim went to the hospital on two separate occasions using different names to obtain prescription pain killers, according to reports.
Franchesca Jean Berry, 28, 131 Hayes St., is charged with one count of drug fraud, according to Ptl. Donathan Johnson's report.
The second incident is alleged to have occurred shortly after midnight on Oct. 1, according to the report. Hospital officials told police that a woman had showed up at the emergency room to obtain treatment for a toothache. She requested a prescription for pain medication.
Nurses at the emergency room and a clerical clerk noticed that the same woman had checked into the emergency room on Sept. 22 using a different name and had obtained pain medication.
In the first incident the woman had used the name Ashley Avlos and on the second visit reportedly used the Berry name.
Police said she again requested a prescription for pain medication on the Oct. 1 visit.
She was taken into custody at the hospital and booked at the Justice Center.
