What could be lovelier than April in Paris? At 11 a.m., on April 2, the Fairfield Glade Ladies Club will be hosting a fabulous “April in Paris” fashion show at the Community and Conference Center. Fresh new spring fashions provided by Belk’s of Turkey Creek and stunning jewelry from Collage in Fairfield Glade will be modeled by members for all to admire. Tickets for the show can be purchased at Collage in the Village Green Mall on Stonehenge Dr. right off Peavine Rd. in Fairfield Glade.
A delicious luncheon, consisting of grilled chicken with salad greens, almond slivers, mandarin oranges, Asian noodles and sliced strawberry will be served. Warm mini croissants will complement the meal, as well as orange crepe suzettes for dessert.
In addition to spring fashions, members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to win a beautiful selection of baskets — 16 in all. There is something for everyone (for example, lawn and garden, sewing and knitting, wine, travel and entertainment). Tickets can be purchased upon entering the show. Submit one or more in the container in front of the basket of your choice and keep your fingers crossed. You might be a winner.
The Ladies Club would like to acknowledge the following sponsors: Dave Kirk, Edward Jones Investments, Landscape Solutions, Business Cumberland, Crye-Leike Brown Realty and Heartland Florist. Their generous contributions aid them in continuing their philanthropic work that is so beneficial to the community. Please patronize these establishments.
The honored veteran for April will be Laura Dumez. Club President Viva Bosland has invited Barbara Jackson to give the invocation.
