Jim McCulloch displays a catch of a 20 1/2 inch, 4.33 pound bass.

Lakes Canterbury and Catherine were the sites for Fairfield Glade Bass Club's Tournament 11. A total of 24 fishermen participated with a grand total of only 50 bass being caught and released.   Lake Canterbury was, by far, the best of the two lakes, with only 12 bass caught in Lake Catherine. Overall fishing conditions were good after all the recent rains. Water temperatures were still in the low to mid 80s. Baits used were primarily plastic worms fished either Texas rigged or Carolina rigged. The results are as follows:

First place — Tony Danhelka and Jim McCulloch, having five bass weighing 6.84 pounds

Second place — Duane Vandewalker and Ron Riccetti, with five bass weighing 3.975 pounds

Third place — Ed Wolters and Dave Cargill, with five bass weighing 3.970 pounds

Fourth place — Frank Fiedler and Joe Boggio, with three bass weighing 3.41 pounds

Fifth place — Bob Callis and Dave Hixson, with four bass weighing 3.05 pounds

Big Bass Honors went to Jim McCulloch, with his 20 1/2 inch 4.33 pound Bass. 

Overall Club Standing after this tournament are as follows:

First place — Ed Wolters

Second place — John Slinkard

Third place — Jim McCulloch

Fourth place — Steve Ferrell

Fifth place — George Godsey
