Joline A. Boski

Oct. 20, 1928 — July 1, 2009

Joline Ann Boski, 80, of Fairfield Glade, passed away July 1, 2009. After eight years of a battle with cancer, her body lost, but she won the final victory. Her soul went to heaven and she is with her loving God. Memorial services will be held at a later date at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Times will be announced when they are arranged.

Mrs. Boski was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Clinton, IN, the daughter of John and Emma Slotiz Shovely.

She married her husband of almost 62 years, John M. Boski, on Sept. 11, 1948. They moved to Fairfield Glade in September 1986 after her retirement from Greyhound Bus lines, where she worked in the accounting department. Both volunteered with the Cumberland County Playhouse, where she was coordinator of volunteer ushers and he was in charge of volunteer maintenance. She also served as president of the Lady Elks with the Cumberland County Elks Lodge, was a member of the Barbershop Belles and various other groups in Fairfield Glade.

She is survived by her husband, John Boski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Shovely; and sisters, Marilyn Sansphilip and Rosemary Higdon and her husband Gordon.

Wallace J. DeMille

Jan. 11, 1929 — June 10, 2009

Wallace "Wally" John DeMille, 80, of Fairfield Glade, passed away June 10, 2009. A memorial service was held June 13 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with Father John O'Neill officiating.

Mr. DeMille was born Jan. 11, ,1929, in Ironwood, MI, the son of Earl and Elzea (Boisoneau) DeMille.

He graduated from Northern University in Michigan and was retired from Monumental Life Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and was 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was a corporal in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite (Nault) DeMille of Fairfield Glade; sons, Craig DeMille of Germantown, Paul DeMille of Knoxville and Mark DeMille of Nashville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Addis.

Carol J. Woodard

Aug. 12, 1937 — July 6, 2009

Carol Jean (Miller) Woodard, 71, of Crossville, passed away July 6, 2009. The family received friends July 8 at Bilbrey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Broadlands, IL.

Mrs. Woodard was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Norman H. and Rachel (Fisher) Miller.

She was a homemaker and a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Crossville.

Survivors include her husband, Doyle Dwayne Woodard of Crossville; son, Kevin Woodard of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Lori Mintle of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Kyle and Kristen Woodard and Emily and Adam Mintle; and brother, Norman L. Miller of Homer, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
