Jack Scheife’s Art of Cooking Demos always includes food preparation, recipe sharing, and a tasty lunch. For his November Art of Cooking Demo at the Plateau Creative Arts Center, Jack Scheife has chosen a new menu that brings seasonal warmth and comfort to both palate and soul. Jack’s homemade “how-to” food demo will include making pizza, bread, soup and dessert. For all items, Jack will share preparation tips, recipes and a Q&A. In addition to being given the recipes and learning how Jack prepares each one, participants will enjoy a fine lunch featuring all of Jack’s scrumptious menu items.
Jack’s Art of Cooking Demo is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $17 for Art Guild members and $22 for non-members, plus six dollars for food supplies to be paid directly to Jack. The cooking demo, recipes, and lunch of pizza, breads, soup and dessert are all included. Class participants are asked to bring their own drink, a bowl for the soup, a spoon, and also pencil and paper for taking notes. Jack will demonstrate as much of the menu preparation as possible, but due to limited time and kitchen space, Jack will pre-make some of the items.
