The Fantastic Quilting Guild of Fairfield Glade will hold its annual tea and auction on Friday, May 15. The tea and auction, which is open to the public, will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church on Westchester Dr. beginning at 10 a.m. Attendees are asked to wear a spring hat and to bring their own china cup for tea.

The guild will have both a silent auction and a live auction with proceeds going to fund guild activities and charities. Both auctions will have many items of interest to quilters as well as the general public. Special items to be auctioned will be nine quilts made by guild members as part of a round robin challenge. Members were divided into groups representing their "home" states and challenged to make a quilt portraying the states they represented. The resulting quilts range in size from wall quilts to throws.
