40 runners compete in Stone Memorial's first Panther Dash


CROSSVILLE — The Coordinated School Health Team at SMHS sponsored the first Panther Dash on Saturday, Dec. 1. It featured a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run/walk for all ages. There were 40 participants ranging in age from six to 75.

The overall male winner was Sam Moore with a time of 23:30. The overall female winner was Elisabeth Reece with a time of 24:54. The proceeds benefited the SMHS Coordinated School Health Program and Christmas on the Mountain Toy Drive.
