South tops Pleasant Hill in JV action

CROSSVILLE — The Cumberland County elementary junior varsity basketball league resumes Oct. 22, after taking this week off for fall break. The Oct. 22 schedule is Brown at Pine View, Martin at Stone, South at Crab Orchard an North at Homestead.

South 51, Pleasant Hill 15: Trey Christopher and Zach Street tallied 15 and 13 points, respectively, to lead the South Rebels to a 51-15 victory at Pleasant Hill.

Donny Roby and Larry Reed each had five points for the Hornets

    CCHS baseball is pleased to announce that the annual alumni game will be Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. at Jet Park.  This has become an annual tradition for the program to welcome back its alumni for a weekend of festivities and allow them the opportunity to lace up the spikes another time to represent the Jets.
