There are spots for teams for the annual fundraising golf tournament for the CCHS baseball team played Oct. 27 at the Heathurst Golf Club's Craig course. The tourney will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
According to Heatherhurst professional Jeff Houston Wednesday afternoon, there were still openings for a dozen or so teams.
"This is a very important fundraiser for the baseball team, so I hope everyone can find time to put your team together and have some fun while helping out a good cause," said Heatherhurst professional Jeff Houston.
The format is a four-person scramble. Teams can be all men, all women or a mix with a handicap of A (0-9), B (10-14), C (15-20) and D (21 and over) team make up. If you have something close, It will be accepted. For example, if you have two “A” players, make sure to have two “D” players.
The tournament field is limited to the first 36-paid teams.
There will be two flights based on 16 teams or more. The first-place team will receive $300 per team and second-place team earns $150 per team,
The entry fee is $65 per person and it includes golf, cart, mulligan, prizes and lunch after play. The entry forms are available at Heatherhurst.
