CROSSVILLE — Crossville FirstBank President Pat Roper presented game balls to Jet quarterback Jordan Buckner (6) and SMHS linebacker/tight end Shadoe Smith (2) for their performances against Rhea County and Cookeville, respectively, last Friday as Players of the Week. CCHS lost 63-7 at Rhea County and will travel to York tonight, while the SMHS was beaten 31-14 at Cookeville and will host Coffee County tonight.

Bernadelli, Wyatt lead runners in Reindeer Games
The TAD Center held its first Reindeer Games last week, capped by the Reindeer Run last Saturday.
Cesare Bernardelli was the overall male winner in 22:17, while Sharmain Wyatt was the overall female winner in 26:55 from the field of 31 runners.

Lady Jets extend winning streak to eight games
The Cumberland County High School basketball teams split a pair of District 6AAA games Friday night in Cookeville. The Lady Jets defeating the Lady Cavaliers 72-56 for their eighth straight victory of the season, while the Jets were beaten 95-61.
SMHS beats Rhea County for share of 6AAA lead
The Stone Memorial basketball teams split a pair of games with Diistrict 6AAA foe Rhea County Friday night, as the Panthers improved to 7-2 with a 88-54 victory over the Golden Eagles, while the Lady Panthers were beaten 70-42 to fall to 5-5 on the season.
SMHS ties for fifth in Seymour Duals
The Stone Memorial Panther wrestling team went 4-1 and tied for fifth at the Seymour Duals on Dec. 14, beating Karns 56-11, Chattanooga Central 33-27 and Powell 39-24, but lost to Wayne County, KY 51-28.
They defeated Hardin Valley in a close match 42-40 Dec.12.
