Lady Panthers finish second in Cookeville 5K race Tuesday

CROSSVILLE — On a beautiful Tuesday evening the Stone Memorial Cross Country competed in the Cookeville 5k race at Cookeville High School on Sept. 17. 

SMHS girls varsity finished second as a team and were led by feshman Hailey Coudriet who finished second with a time of 21:11, followed by Caroline Pribanich, fifth (21:50); Emily Swafford, 10th (23:19); Kerigan Smith, 13th (23:44); Claire Tackett, 21st (24:55); Rachel Raulerson 22nd, (24:57) and Kayli Priestwood, 40th (27:51).

In the boys race, Stone finished fourth overall and was led by junior Sam Hagan, 16th (19:27); Dawson Hassler, 18th (19:35); George Sampley, 20th (19:38); John Mathis, 22nd (19:52); Blu Shillings, 24th (19:55); Anthony Spencer, 29th (20:26); and Anthony Algeria, 37th (21:21).

In the boys junior varsity race, Stone Memorial was led by Jordan Schroeder’s second-place finish and time of (19:32), followed Ben Bowman, eighth (20:26); Bailey Davis, ninth (20:29); Chris Brickle, 15th (21:59); Sergio Romo, 22nd (22:54), Justin Hall, 25th (23:21); and Skylar Hawn, 32nd (25:12).  

In the girls JV race Stone was led by Lexi Hinch, fifth (26:30); Ali Livesay, ninth (26:55); and Alexandra Anthony, 32nd (33:10).
