Stevie’s Elite Athletics places in CheerSport Nationals

Submitted

CROSSVILLE — Stevie's Elite Athletics (SEA) Allstars were in Atlanta, GA, Feb. 15-16 for CheerSport Nationals.  Level 1 placed seventh out of 12 teams and Level 3 tied for sixth out of 14 teams.

"Nationals can be a very intense competition, with more than 1,100 participating teams. We could not be more proud of how fearlessly both Level 1 and Level 3 SEA cheerleaders competed," said Stevie Beaty.

For Level 1, CheerSport Nationals was not the first competition in February. SEA Level 1 traveled to Knoxville on Feb. 1 for a one-day CheerSport competition. After making some changes in their routine, this incredible team proudly earned second place out of nine teams in their division, only 0.4 from first place.

With two competitions left, the 2013-2014 cheer season will end in April. Tryouts for 2014-2015 AllStar teams are scheduled May 10, 2014. There will be an informative AllStar competitive cheer meeting March 15, 8:30 a.m., at Stevie’s Elite Athletics. Anyone who is interested in the program is invited to attend.

The coaches are Stevie Beaty, Amanda Street, Caitlin Evans and Stacie Evans.
