Crossville Christian golf tournament tees off Sept. 28

CROSSVILLE — Crossville Christian School’s annual golf tournament fund raiser will tee off Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. at the newly renovated Deer Creek Golf Club in Crossville. 

The entry fee is $60 per player (teams of four players), which includes golf and cart, tournament prizes, special event prizes and lunch at noon provided by Big John’s BBQ.  The entry fee must accompany the completed entry form. Come prepared to play in poor weather unless there is lightening. Hole sponsorship is $100 and gold sponsor (hole and company name or logo on t-shirt) is $150.

Crossville Christian School (CCS) has been serving the greater Cumberland Plateau Christian community since 1997 by providing a quality Classical Christian Education.

    The Cookeville Cavaliers scored seven runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to claim a 7-0 District 6AAA victory over the CCHS Jets Monday night in Cookeville.

    The SMHS Lady Panthers had another stellar day while the Panthers hammered out a solid day in Knoxville in the Tennessee Relays over the weekend.. The Lady Panthers finished ninth out of the 57 scheduled teams to compete, while the boys took 32nd out of the 57.

    The Stone Memorial tennis teams lost their District 6AAA matches to Rhea County Monday afternoon. The boys lost 9-0, while the girls were beaten 7-2.
