CCHS to hold Pink Out Friday

CROSSVILLE — The CCHS football team will be hosting the annual Pink Out game tonight, when the Jets will host District 6AAA foe Cookeville (5-2, 2-1) at 7 p.m.. The CCHS cheerleaders will be coordinating the Pink Out activities from 5:30 p.m. until kickoff.

The annual Pink Out game is a way to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Jordan Johnson will have a breast cancer awareness booth set up, while the cheerleaders will be selling Frito Banditos and having games prior to the game.

Also, CCHS homecoming week begins Oct. 21, capped by the annual homecoming game with Grundy County at 7 p.m.  Oct. 25, which will include the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. The homecoming parade will be at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24. There will be other activities throughout the week at CCHS.

Senior night will be Nov. 1, when the Jets close out the regular season at 7 p.m. against District 6AAA foe Warren County. Seniors from volleyball, girls soccer, cross country, golf, cheerleading, football and band will be recognized during the evening.
