Several CCHS and SMHS golfers were selected by the coaches to the All-District teams.
CCHS senior Logan Stewart joins Nicholas Powell of Warren County and Robert Agee of Cookeville as Players of the Year.
Members of the All-District team were Cookeville — Sean Conally, Daniel Jared, Travis Bumbalough and Will Brooks; CCHS — Logan Stewart and Jordan Graham;
Rhea County — Drew Gunter; Stone Memorial — Stone McCoy; Warren County — Nicholas Powell, Clayton Myers and Braxton Myers; and White County — Cameron Bruce.
Members of the All-District freshmen team are Cookeville — Will Brooks and Jake Funderbrook; CCHS — Chandler Shelton; Rhea County — Spencer Robinson; Warren County — Braxton Womack; and White County — Haden Welch.
Lady Jet Megan Burgess and Lady Panther Tori Harris were selected to the All-District girls team, along with Cookeville's Anna Cunningham and Cierra Ramsey; Rhea County's Gaylan Goins; Warren County's Hannah Powell, Britney Myers and Saylom Powell; and White County's Shelby Johnson.
Powell and Cookeville's Josie Rose were selected to the All-Freshman team, while Powell was the Player of the Year.
The District 6AAA Tournament was played Sept. 19 at Riverwatch, with the top three teams and top five individuals advancing to the Region Tournament Sept. 25 at Riverwatch.
The Cumberland County High School golf teams closed out their regular season Monday afternoon with 173-184 win over Rhea County at Lake Tansi, after dropping a district match with Cookeville Sept. 12 at Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain.
Jordan Graham led CCHS Monday with a 41, followed by D.J. Shelton (43), Logan Stewart (45), Andrew Brown (44), Chandler Shelton (48) and Taylor Rockafellow (54) to help the Jets finish 21-21.
Megan Burgess tied Caylin Goins with a 53.
Logan Stewart led the Jets with a 79 vs. Cookeville. The other Jet scores were Jordan Graham 85, D.J. Shelton 88, Andrew Brown 100 and Chandler Shelton 99.
Will Brooks led Cookeville with a 77.
