— Once again, on Saturday, June 21, Crossville's senior men ventured to Franklin, TN, to participate in the Tennessee Senior Olympics and once again, proved Crossville to be the senior softball capital of Tennessee, returning home with three silver medals and one gold medal.

Sixty senior men, representing teams in four age groups (60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75+), competed with teams from across Tennessee.

The gold medal was for the second straight year by the 65-69 team, and that team will travel to Cleveland, OH, during the week of July 22 to represent Tennessee in the National Senior Games.

Crossville's seniors (men and interested women) play at 9 a.m. every Mondayd and Thursday, weather permitting, at the Crossville Centennial Park complex. Any seniors in the area, interested in fun and a little exercise, are invited to join them at any time.
