CROSSVILLE — As this article is being written, it is less than 90 days until tee time for the 15th Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Alumni's charity golf classic. Over the years, the Classic has prided itself in having a first-class, fun experience for a worthy cause. 2013 will be no different. So if you and your friends want to experience some fun and give Cumberland County heart patients a boost, join CPR Alumni on May 22 at the award-winning Bear Trace golf course.

A complete golfing experience is offered to our participants for the low price of $60 per player. This is what you will receive — green fees, golf cart, goodie bag, continental breakfast, lunch, free beverages, inclement weather guarantee and all of the fun you can stand in one day.

There is a large, returning group of golfers year in and year out. So if it sounds like this golf tournament is made of memories, giving to a great cause and mingling with great folks is for you, sign up and bring a friend or two.

Tournament forms are available at the local course. But, if you need more information, please call Bill at 707-5505 or Tom at 456-0391.

What makes this tournament special are the specials. There is a tremendous group of sponsors. Many have been supporting this cause for the past 15 years. The tournament is always seeking more sponsorships, because that is what helps heart patients in Cumberland County.

If you would like to be part of the "The Heart Facts" booklet, an educational publication, is distributed and ready for more than 4,000 folks in the local area, call Bill at 707-5505 or Tom at 456-0931.

Memorials or tributes to friends or family members who deal with heart disease on a day-to-day basis are welcomed. Their tenacity is celebrated.

Again, the Cardiac Pulmonary Alumni group looks forward to seeing you May 22 at the Bear Trace Cumberland Mountain course to celebrate HEARTS and play a round of golf.
