Lady Jets fall 14-2 to CAK

CROSSVILLE — The Cumberland County High School Lady Jet softball team posted a 2-3 record over the last week, after competing in the Duff Tournament at Cookeville last weekend and hosting Christian Academy of Knoxville Tuesday night for senior night.

CCHS finished 2-2 in the Duff Tournament, losing to Siegel 12-2, beating Cookeville (2) 13-2 and Clay County 15-5, before being shut out 1-0 by White House in the single elimination round.

Lady Jets lost to CAK 14-2 Tuesday night on senior night.

Senior first baseman Tori Kerley was honored in pre-game ceremonies.

The Lady Jets close out the regular season April 29 at Warren County, before hosting the District 6AAA Tournament  May 2-8.
