Bundle up for Chili Open Jan. 18


CROSSVILLE — The sixth annual Habitat for Humanity Chili Open Golf Tournament will be Saturday, Jan. 18, at noon on the Crag Course at Heatherhurst Country Club.

The cost for the nine-hole scramble is $40, which includes green fees, cart, one mulligan and prizes. Chili, cornbread and brownies will be served after the tournament at the Fairfield Glade Community Church on Snead Dr. The cost of the lunch is $5 for non-players.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity building fund. Habitat for Humanity builds in partnership with low-income families living in substandard housing conditions.
