Mike Steinmann/Salvation Army Golf Tournament set July 27

CROSSVILLE — The sixth Mike Steinmann/Salvation Army Golf Tournament is set  Saturday, July 27 at the Lake Tansi Golf Course.  The tournament will be a shotgun start at 1 p.m.  Entry fee is $65 per person which includes a fish fry afterward along with some great prizes. There will be a hole-in-one contest on the par 3 third hole for a cash prize of $15,000, along with hole-in-one prizes on the other par 3 holes.

There will be a putting contest  at 11 a.m. with one prize for men and one prize for women.  Some other prizes that will also be awarded are closest to the pin on all par 3’s and long drive contest with one prize for men and one prize for women.

The proceeds of this tournament go to support two important Salvation Army programs — to assist Cumberland County children who have been removed from their homes due to severe abuse and neglect by their parents and to also aid Cumberland County Armed Forces veterans in need.

Entry forms are available at the Lake Tansi Pro Shop or go online to www.salvationarmycrossvilletn.org and click on sixth golf tournament or call the Salvation Army Office at (931) 788-3414.

Also, if you would like, you can be a hole sponsor for $100. This gets a sign with your name on it on the hole of your choice and your name on a banner that is displayed at the golf tournament.

Please make plans to get a foursome together to come play and have a great day of fun.

The Salvation Army appreciates all of you who have supported them on this day and all of you who supported them all year long.
