Crab Orchard and Brown remain winless.

Results were Homestead 36, Pleasant Hill 0; South 21, North 8; Stone 38, Brown 32; and Martin 32, Crab Orchard 6.

Stone 38, Brown 32:The Coyotes won a close, exciting game to even their record at 2-2.

Christian Gabbard ran for two touchdowns and scored two two-point conversions. Tyler Breeding rushed for one TD and scored on a pass from Timmy Shultz, who rushed for one more TD and scored two two-point conversions. Elijah Tollett added a two-point conversion.

"The biggest reason for the win over Brown was our offensive line. The efforts of the offensive line was unselfish blocking the entire game," said Stone assistant coach Tony Shultz.

Members of the offensive line are tight end Jared "Rooster" Houston, tackles Bryce "Hitman" LaBombard and Kolby "The Technician" Luckey, guards Parker "The Man" Conley and Cooper "Big Nasty" Wyatt and center Connor "Po Bear" Padgett.

Xavier Findley scored five touchdowns and added a two-point conversion for the Bears.

Martin 32, Crab Orchard 6: A very well played first half by both teams. The Eagles led at the half 8-0, according to Crab Orchard coach Eddie Raper.

"I felt that we played as well in the first half as we had all season. Martin  hit a couple of big plays in the third quarter that we were unable to overcome. I continue to be proud of the effort my players put forth in every game," said Raper.

Crab Orchard's touchdown was a pass from Aaron Kindred to Devin Beaty.

"As a team, we played well in spurts, but still just not consistent," he concluded.
