After three weeks of Cumberland County elementary football action, only two teams remain unbeaten — Homestead (3-0) and South (3-0), after the Bulldogs shut out Brown (0-3) 30-0 and South defeated Martin (1-2) 43-6 last Thursday.
Pleasant Hill (2-1) blanked Crab Orchard (0-3) 20-0, and North (2-1) outscored Stone (0-3) 36-6.
Pleasant Hill 20, Crab Orchard 0: "Pleasant Hill was able to make some big plays in key situations that let them keep drives alive
or led to scores. Our players continue to play hard but a lack of depth, especially in the line, is something we have a hard time overcoming," said Crab Orchard coach Eddie Raper.
"We are really proud of our defense. They played well tonight," said Pleasant Hill coach Jay Wright.
Cade Greatorex scored three touchdowns for the Hornets, while Aaron King and Dawson Lewis each picked off one pass for the Hornet defense.
North 36, Stone 6: Cameron Bowman scored three touchdowns for the Patriots.
No other information was received from the other two games at press-time Friday morning.
