Jets fall to Warren County

CROSSVILLE — The CCHS Jet golf team evened its record to 1-1 after losing 314-342 in McMinnville to Warren County Monday afternoon.

Braxton Womack led the Pioneers with a 73.

"Warren County has a strong team and they usually play well at their course. They will contend for the district this season," said CCHS Coach Randy Herring.

Logan Stewart led the Jets with a 76, followed by Jordan Graham (82), D.J. Shelton (90), Chandler Shelton (98) and Andrew Brown (105).

Megan Burgess shot 108 in the girls match.

The Jets travel to River Watch on Aug. 1 to play White County.
