Wags and Whiskers holds successful golf tournament at Heatherhurst


CROSSVILLE — On Saturday, Oct. 19, the ninth annual Sally Schrader Memorial Golf Outing to benefit Wags and Whiskers was played on the Crag Course at Heatherhurst in Fairfield Glade.

First place with a score of 57 was Rhonda Huddleston, Terry Levix, Jeff McCoy and Stan Courtney.

Second  place with a score of 58 was Mike O’Hara, Dan Linskens, Denny Lown and Bruce Kassel.

Closest to the pin winners were Rhonda Huddleston, No. 3; Ken Schrader, No. 8; Charlie Chacon, No. 12; and Dino D'Agastino, No. 14

Bruce Evans came closest to winning the Dale Schrader $1,000 putt and won $50.

With the funds raised, they will be able to reach the goal of helping spay/neuter 1,210 community animals this year! Thanks to all who participated and helped Wags and Whiskers raise funds to continue the mission:  “No More Homeless Pets” in this area by providing spay/neuter education, facilitation and financial aid.
