Corvette Club tests county knowledge in scavenger hunt

Submitted

CROSSVILLE — On Sept. 21 the Plateau Corvette Club held its first scavenger hunt in Crossville. Directions sent them to Cumberland Mountain State Park, Crossville Airport, Cumberland County Playhouse, the old high school, Stone Memorial High School, the Cumberland County Courthouse and six other places where they had to obtain objects or gather information. They also had to answer 20 questions about the county. Prizes were given to all participants with donations made by local businesses. It certainly tested the compatibility of driver and co-pilot (navigator). Upon completion of the hunt, they all enjoyed a nice meal at Genesis Italian Grill. All who participated agreed they can’t wait for the next one.
