The Stone Memorial cross country teams where in action on Tuesday, Oct 1, at Fort Bluff Camp in Dayton, Tennessee. It was a beautiful day for a race and the course had winding, narrow curves with many different types of surface to run on. There where over 31 teams and partial teams from Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama represented, according to Coach Tim Smith
The Lady Panthers, who were missing two good runners, finished fifth and was led by Hailey Coudriet, who broke a school record in the 5K, finishing fifth with a time of 20:27.
Caroline Pribanich had a personal record, finishing 12th (20:49), followed by Claire Tackett, 64th (24:23); Rachel Raulerson, 70th (24:41); Lexi Hinch, a personal record 79th, (25:13); Kayli Priestwood, 93rd (25:43) and Alexandria Anthony, 155th (32:20).
The Panthers, who also missed a runner due to injury, finished 12th and were led by Jordan Schroader's personal record of 18:51 and a 35th-place finish.
There were over 215 runners on this narrow course.
Other Panther runners were Sam Hagan, 59th (19:18); George Sampley, 63rd (19:25); Dawson Hassler, 79th (19:50); John Mathis, 86th (19:58); Anthony Spencer, 102nd (20:20); and Anthony Alegria, 151st (21:38).
In the junior varsity division, the Panthers finished 11th and were led by Ben Bowman in 20:53 for 20th place. Rounding out the Panther scoring were Bailey Davis, 44th (21:46); Chris Brickle, 56th (22:06); Sergio Romo, 78th (22:54); Skylar Hawn, 109th (23:48), Justin Hall, 122nd (24:10); Chandler Reed, 130th (24:27) and Grant Brown with a personal record of 26:42.
