The fourth and final race of the 2013 Cumberland County Junior Cross Country League season was held Monday afternoon at Stone Memorial High School. There were 453 boys and girls competing in two divisions — junior varsity and varsity, which is divided into A and AA.
There were 71 varsity boys running, followed by 53 varsity girls, 156 junior varsity boys and 173 junior varsity girls.
The top four overall finishers in the junior varsity boys race were Reese Dykes (South), 6:40.8; Mason Wyatt (South), 07:04.1; Matt Sweeney (Stone), 7.12:1; and Kristopher Gayheart (Pleasant Hill), 7:15.8).
Lauren Tabor (North) won the junior varsity girls race in 6:51.3, followed by Makenzie Pentz (Crab Orchard), 7:09.3; Katie Coudriet (North), 7:19.4; and Keaton Freitag (Martin (7:27.4).
Sydney Tabor (North) was the varsity girls champion in 11:56.6, followed by Hailey Coudriet (North), 12:05.9; Helena Clayborne (Homestead), 13:10.8 and Cheyenne Jones (Crab Orchard), 13:13.7.
Ben Tabor (North) was the varsity boys winner in 11:36.4, followed by Xavier Findley (Brown), 12:04.7; Hayden Woody (South), 12:17.2 and Thomas Arnold (Homestead), 12:19.6.
Participating schools were North, Brown, South, Homestead, Pine View, Pleasant HIll, Christian Academy of the Cumberlands (CAC), Crab Orchard, Crossville Christian School, Pine View and Martin. The schools were divided into A and AA divisions based on enrollment.
