As the SMHS Panthers travelled down the mountain to Kingston, Kingston was prepared to travel to the Plateau. With no home field available, Roane State's baseball team and coaches hurriedly prepared their field for the District 4AA game with one umpire calling the game on the field behind the mound.
Due to the confusion, the junior varsity action was cancelled. SMHS hosted hosted Kingston Tuesday night, before co-hosting the Mountain Man Classic Thursday-Saturday.
