Lady Patriots top Stone


CROSSVILLE — Reece Stover tallied 13 points to lead the North Lady Patriots junior varsity to a 36-26 victory over Stone Thursday night.

Brooke Davis led Stone with seven points.

Crab Orchard at Homestead

Homestead 43, Crab Orchard 5: Brett Newcome pumped in 18 points, and Zach Boyd added 12 markers to lead the Bulldogs over the Tigers.

Clint Kemmer led Homestead with three points, while Blake Phillips added two markers.

The Cumberland County elementary varsity season opens Tuesday night with two games — Homestead at Stone and Crab Orchard at North. Pine View and the western division have open dates.
