28th Tansi Exchange Golf Tournament tees off April 26

CROSSVILLE — The 28th Lake Tansi Exchange Club's benefit golf tournament  will be Saturday, April 26, a 1 p.m. at the Lake Tansi Golf Course. The tournament will be a  four-person scramble format with a $70 entry fee or $280 per team which includes team mulligan. The tournament will be flighted at the end of play, with prizes awarded to the top three teams in each flight.

The number of teams  will be limited to the first 32 paid entries. The entry fee includes cart and individual mulligans. Entry forms are available at the Lake Tansi pro shop.

Dave Kirk Automotive will provide a GM vehicle as a grand prize for a hole-in-one on the par 3 third hole.

A new golf cart sponsored by Ladd's Golf Cars of Knoxville will be the grand prize for a hole-in-one on the par 3, 15th hole.

There will longest and most accurate drive contests and closest to the pin prizes on all par 3s.

There will be special prizes for lowest total for an all senior men's team and an all women's team not placing in any flight.

A dinner, served by the 19th Hole Restaurant, will be at the  pavillion following tournament play.

Many charitable organizations in Cumberland County benefit from this event and others like it including the Holland J. Stephens Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, which serves Cumberland and surrounding counties.

The Lake Tansi Exchange Club wishes to express its deepest appreciation to the many local merchants and individuals who have made this one of the longest running golf tournaments in Cumberland County and helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for those in need of help right here at home.
