The Cumberland County High School freshmen basketball teams concluded the first half of the season with games against Warren County on Monday and White County last Thursday.
The Jets lost 70-29 to Warren County Monday and 67-39 to White County last Thursday, while the Lady Jets beat White County last Thursday, but no information was received on the girls game with Warren County.
Warren County 70, Jets 29: Leading scorers for the Jets were Jake Moore (six points, four rebounds, one steal, two assists), Tristan Partridge (eight points, rebounds, one assist), Mason Houston (five points, two rebounds, one assist), Cason Graham (six points), Ben Tabor (four points, four rebounds) and Mason Crisp (two rebounds). Corey Brooks also played.
White County 67, Jets 39: "We played about as well as we can the first quarter. Unfortunately, we couldn't sustain that for the next three quarters," said Coach Blaine Moore.
Leading scorers were Mason Houston (nine points, four rebounds, one steal, three assists), Kevin Flores (14 points, two rebounds, one assist), Cason Graham (10 points, three rebounds, two steals, one assist), Ben Tabor (four points, two rebounds, one assist), Jake Moore (two points, one rebound, two steals, two assists) and Mason Crisp (one rebound). Both Corey Brooks and Tristan Partridge also played.
The freshmen will play Cookeville in their regular season home finale Jan. 6, while the junior varsity will return to the court Jan. 7 at Clarkrange.
