The Stone Memorial basketball teams open their home portion of their 2012-'13 schedule tonight against Livingston and White County Friday, after both squads played in Thanksgiving tournaments.
The Lady Panthers fell to 2-4 after finishing sixth in the B&E Roofing Thanksgiving Tournament at Knox Central High School last week. They defeated host Central 70-37 Friday and lost to Livingston 79-64 Saturday in the consolation round of the tournament.
The Panthers will take a 3-2 record into Tuesday's game with Livingston after competing in the Siegel Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend. SMHS beat Tyner 66-57 and lost to Maplewood 53-43.

SMHS 70, Knox Central 37: Faith Van Ruden tallied 14 points, four rebounds, one assist and three steals to lead the Lady Panthers, while Jacki Livesay added 13 markers, two rebounds, one assist and two steals. Jordan Thompson knocked down 10 points with one rebound and two steals.
Rounding out the scoring were Tiffany Cokkinias (four points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals), Emily Bryant (one rebound, one assist), Kirsten Potter (two points, five rebounds), Kerigan Smith (three points, one rebound, three steals), Abby Griffin (eight points, two rebounds, one steal), Bailey Rutledge (one rebound), Courtney White (six points, seven rebounds, one assist, five steals), Sidney Early (eight points, five rebounds, three steals), Mikayla Kington (two points, one rebound), Riley Hunt (one rebound, one assist) and Lacey Melton (one rebound).
SMHS led 13-10 after one quarter and used a 22-8 second quarter to take a 35-18 lead at the break. They outscored the hosts 35-19 in the second half to claim the victory.
Livingston 79, SMHS 64: Jacki Livesay tickled the twine with 22 points and hauled down four rebounds with two steals to lead the Lady Panthers, while Faith VanRuden added 12 points, four rebounds and five steals in Saturday's consolation round.

Livingston led 23-10 after one quarter and took a 44-23 lead at the break. The Lady Wildcats outscored SMHS 23-17 in the third quarter for a 67-40 lead, but SMHS finished the game with a 24-12 fourth quarter for a final margin of 79-64.
