Lady Jet volleyball team honors seniors

CROSSVILLE — The Lady Jet volleyball team defeated Monterey 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-22) Tuesday on senior night.

Senior players Tessa Dixon, Christine Jones, Kansas Stamper and Rebekah Teeple and managers/videographers Chris Cole and Jonathan Wyatt were honored in ceremonies between the varsity and junior varsity contests.

"Tessa is a defensive specialist and four-year starter. Christine is a four-year starter, setter and vocal leader on the court," said Coach Donald Smith. "Kansas is a middle blocker/Hitter, one of the most improved players (on the team) and has been with the team for three years, after she transferred from Crossville Christian School. Rebekah is an outside hitter and four-year varsity player, who returned from a knee injury and hustles all over the court."

Cole and Wyatt are first-year managers/videoraphers.
