Art Guild set golf fundraiser for July 25

CROSSVILLE — Golfers are needed to fill the course for the Art Guild Golf Fundraiser July 25. There will be a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start on the Heatherhurst Brae Golf Course. The cost for each golfer to enter is $75 which includes the 18 holes of golf, a wonderful luncheon at the Fairfield Glade Conference Center immediately after golf, plus a “unique silent auction." The auction is open to the public and will start at noon and conclude at 2:30 p.m. Included in the silent auction items this year are jewelry, a timeshare week, Disney Hopper tickets, Alabama Golf Trail tickets, FFG rounds of golf,  original art work, pottery, glassware and many, many more items.

There is a need for four-person teams of all men, all women or two men and two women.

Please sign up as a full team and join in on the fun! Winners in each division are determined by two low gross and two net scores.

The Art Guild is currently contacting businesses and individuals in the area to sponsor a tee sign for $100. If you would like to sponsor a hole, please let me know.

You can find applications on the web-site at www.artguildfairfieldglade.net or www.sunflowergolf.com.

If you have any questions, please contact Dawn Robb at dawnrobb@citlink.net or at (931) 456-5601.

This event is the only source of income for the children’s programs, so Please help the Art Guild to help the children in the area. The “Picture Person” program is open to all fourth graders. They have art teachers who go into the schools once a month to teach art and art appreciation. The Art Guild furnishes supplies to the schools and to the children who attend the summer program at the Plateau Creative Arts Center in Fairfield Glade.

The Art Guild also works with home schooled children, Kids on the Rise, and any children who come to the PCAC for the summer children’s program.

The goal this year is to fill the course. So please get your teams entries in as soon as possible.
