Wilson team leads City of Crossville Team Championship with a 58

Scott Wilson, Peyton Sliger, Michael Bradshaw and Kevin Morgan fired a 14-under par 58 to take a two-sroke lead over Matt Manzaro, Lee Maxwell, Paul Ballard and Barrett Steakley in the first round of the annual City of Crossville Team Championship played Monday at Lake Tansi.

Manzaro's team shot a 12-under-60, while Craig Lee, Rick Mays, Bob Rice and Mike Poe, who were at 11-under-par 61.

Golf Capital Learning Center professional Greg Wyatt and Adam Forgey, Tim Richardson and Blake Garrison were fourth at 10-under-par 62, while Bear Trace professional Kelvin Burgin and Dale Wheeler, Tracy Graham and Bob Clark were tied for seventh at eight under par 64. Tansi professionals Matt Phipps and Cody King and partners Jason Sitton and Mark Hickey were tied for 17th at six-under-par 66.

King is tied for first with Audie Johnson at three-under-par 69 in the regular professional division, while Burgin is third with a 70, and Wyatt is fourth with a 71. Phipps is 21st with an 88.

In the regular amateur division, Graham is 13th with a two-over-par 74, five strokes behind first-round leader Lee Maxwell (66).

Wheeler is tied for 16th with a 77, while Jake Daily is tied for 24th with an 80. Sitton is 27th with an 82.

Eddie Wyatt is tied for fourth at even-par 72 in the senior amateur division, two strokes behind first-round co-leaders Mike Poe (70) and Ron Waters (70).

Randy Helton leads the senior professional division with a 68.

The tournament concluded Tuesday at double-crossover start at 8:30 a.m. from both the number one and 10th tees.
