Patriots beat Pleasant Hill in JV hoop action

CROSSVILLE — Justin Headrick tossed in 20 points to lead the North Cumberland Patriots to a 48-17 victory over the Pleasant Hill Hornets in junior varsity hoop action Monday night at Pleasant Hill.

Braden Qualls led the Hornets with nine points.

Rebekah Noland and Jacqueline Griffith each had four points for the Lady Hornets.

    The CCHS Jet baseball went 1-2 over spring break to improve to 17-10 on the season, after losing to Greeneville 3-2 in eight innings last Thursday, beating Cocke County 7-1 last Friday and losing 10-4 to Knox Carter last Saturday.
