Marham said CCHS cross country “has character” during this season’

CROSSVILLE — Sunday, Dec. 2 marked the official end of season for the CCHS Cross Country team.  The team was honored at the presentation by coaches and parents.

Bradley Mathis and Sharon Ulloa (not pictured) received the Rookie Award. Nathan Phillips and Taylor Hammons were the  Most Improved runners;.

Ryan Bedgood and Lindsey Roysdon won the  Fleet Feet and Most Valuable awards.

Aidan Morrison and Caroline Cravens received the Coach's Award. 

In his remarks, Coach Leonard Markham stated this team "has character" and the parents were congratulated for their influence on their children. 

Parents were also thanked for their support for the team and their progress toward personal and team goals for this 2012 season. Both boys' and girls' teams ran well in their region, with the boys' team finishing second (Ryan Bedgood was all section, finishing third). The girls were a few points from finishing in the top three to advance to the state championship.
